Today's Reading:
Psalms 112-115
1 Corinthians 1
My Response:
Okay so anymore I am not able to get through everyting that I want to get through so I really need to try and make a few cutbacks to my posts so that I don't feel guilty about missing things, but I probably will feel this way anyways. There is just much good stuff in our readings and I just simply don't have enough time to talk about it.
In Psalms 112 I am encouraged by what the Psalmist has to say. Especially with some of my fears and struggles, the Lord has yet spoken to me one more time.
Psalms 112:1-2
1[a] Praise the LORD. [b]
Blessed is the man who fears the LORD,
who finds great delight in his commands.
2 His children will be mighty in the land;
the generation of the upright will be blessed.
I will not say much more about this other than that I love my children and I am thankful that there is a promise, and I hold this as a promise, that when I fear the Lord and serve Him faithfully He will provide and take care of my family. I have a weakness of fear of death of those that I love. This really has been along the same lines of many things that God has been saying to me over the past many weeks. Thank You Lord for Your kindness and love.
